Ben Gordon Center helps the Sycamore Kiwanis Club “serve the children of the world”
Sycamore Kiwanis Club member, Joe Bussone, presents Michael Flora with a $350.00 donation. The gift will be used to provide behavioral healthcare services for indigent youth and families seeking care at the Ben Gordon Center.
BGC Receives Funding from DeKalb County NAPA Dealers
A portion of funds from oil changes are donated to the Ben Gordon Center. Representing DeKalb County NAPA auto dealers, Tim King, Jon Bockman and John Volkert present an $504.00 check to Michael Flora, President and CEO of BGC. Drive-thru dinner raises over $1600 for mental health and substance abuse services in our community.
The July 30, 2010 Drive-thru dinner was a tremendous success! Thank you to our sponsors: Resource Bank, Illini Security and Jim’s Body Shop! Thank you to our lean mean machine of volunteers who packaged the meals and delivered them to the vehicles! And especially thank you to each and every one who purchased and/or sold dinner tickets.
